Microsoft has been around for a long time, so you would be forgiven to think the company has its own laptop. Well, you’re wrong. Microsoft has announced today (Oct 6th, 2015) its first laptop – the Surface Book, which Microsoft corporate vice-president Panos Panay calls it “the thinnest, most powerful PC ever, by far”.

The Surface Book will be available for preorder on Wednesday (Oct 7th, 2015) with the starting price tag of just $1,499 (£984) and will be available October 26th 2015. Here are some of the specs:
