Pepsi to launch $200 smartphone

That’s right, PepsiCo have confirmed that they will be making their own Android based phone called the Pepsi P1. But before you get too excited about owning this delicious beverage based smartphone, it will be available in China only.

A spokeswomen for PepsiCo said the P1 will be "Available in China only, this effort is similar to recent globally licensed Pepsi products which include apparel and accessories." But PepsiCo will not be manufacturing the phone themselves, instead, it's contracted an unknown phone manufacturer to do the job – check out the picture below, the device does have some Huawei aesthetic to it. It is to be released in China on October 20th and rumoured to cost around $200.
