Google Cardboard has been around for a while now and is a great way to easily and cheaply get a taste for the world of Virtual Reality. You just need to buy a low cost Google Cardboard kit (on Amazon for under £10) and download the Cardboard app on your smart phone (Android & IOS) and you are ready to experience VR!
If you already have Google Cardboard then you will be delighted to know that Google Street View is added to the latest update on the app. This means you can experience navigating Google Street View in Virtual Reality. Isn’t that awesome? Now you can go on virtual holidays to amazing places where you walk on the road and people’s faces are all blurred out – yay!
It definitely looks like a fun new addition to Google Cardboard and we are excited to see what’s next for VR.
